RECORDING OF THE 1964-1965
L arry Leonard writes in to tell us: "I am a 1965 Manual grad who recently converted a record album of the 1964-1965 Concert Band to a Windows Media video file. After 44 years since it was recorded during a live performance, I am amazed at the quality of this high school band! The recording itself may be a little hissy due to scratches on the vinyl record, but I believe the listener will thoroughly enjoy the performance. As a trumpet player in the marching and concert bands (and orchestra) at Manual, I am proud to have been one of Mr. Albert Asch's students in those days. I have shared this music with a few of my classmates, and would like to share it with others that may be interested." |
